The Port of Alcudia is becoming an attractive alternative to the prestigious Port of Palma as a cruise ship destination, after showing positive outcomes this summer.
Stopovers at this port in the north of the island increased by 80% during 2016, and bookings for this new year represent an year on year increase.
According to Alcudia's councillor for Tourism and Institutional Relations, Joan Gaspar, the key to the Port of Alcudia's current success is its proximity to the beach and the old town as well as the wide variety of leisure options and day trips offered by Alcudia Town Hall.
