Foreign investments rocket in the Balearics

According to data provided by the Commerce Secretary, there has been a significant increase in the amount of tourism accommodation purchased and the number of luxury chalets and houses built, despite Spain's financial problems. This trend is also set to continue in the mid to long term.

As for the real estate sector, it accounts for over 80% of all foreign investments made from January to June.
