Mallorca Sotheby's proud sponsors of the Copa del Rey Sailing Regatta 2016

We are delighted to announce that we have recently  played an active role in the latest edition of the Copa del Rey (King's Cup) regatta by sponsoring one of the competing sailing boats.   This is a highly anticipated event within the sailing world and a renowned occasion in Mallorcan society due to its international significance and the great interest it sparks in the world of sports.

Palma Port hosted one of the most important catamaran competitions in the world from the 30th of June to the 6th of August, the GC32, jointly with the Copa del Rey Sailing Regatta, and this was attended by Pierre Casiraghi, Caroline Princess of Hanover's son. Also in attendance was the King Felipe VI of Spain, who presented the awards for the Copa del Rey, the Queen in the company of the Spanish princesses and many other dignitaries and celebrities.
Mallorca Sotheby's enjoyed some magnificent and very exciting races as well as the chance to see 130 yachts representing 19 countries, including four of the eight 2015 winners.

It was the perfect occasion for Palma de Mallorca to present itself once again to the international sporting community.  As ever, this prestigious event has been a meeting place for yacht and sea lovers and has left us some stunning images.
