Rural and rental tourism a huge success in the Balearics

Rentals in the Balearics accounted for almost the same amount of tourist occupation as hotels during the month of September, with an 87% reserved occupation rate, according to estimated data from the INE.

Rural hotels managed a 73% occupation rate during September, quite a high percentage when compared to previous years. 

This information shows that tourism wealth in the Balearics has been distributed across all types of accommodation, exceeding numbers from previous years.
