The real estate market in the Balearic Islands is considered one of the most developed in the sector in Spain.
The price of housing in Palma rose by 6.3%, more than in the rest of Spain, and in the Balearic Islands as a whole it decreased by 0.3%, according to a report by the valuation company Tinsa.
Housing prices are recovering and the Tinsa survey also notes that, on average, it takes 9.5 months to sell a property in Spain.
