These are the highlights of 2017, looking back on a progressive year

The islands are lighting up, Christmas markets are popping up and the chimneys are lit. A good moment to stand still and look back shortly on the past year.

Sotheby´s International Realty in the Balearics has been expanding, with a new office in Menorca and its emergence into new markets. At the same time, significant events we sponsored such as the Copa del Rey MAPFRE sailing competition and various golf tournaments among others, have been contributing factors to the growing visibility of the company.

We have also been active with respect to social responsibility, which is one of our key values: at the Mallorca Zeitung golf tournament, we participated in the auction and won the shirt signed by Rafa Nadal of which the proceeds went to the Shambhala Foundation. We contributed to the charity golf tournament Nadal & Olazábal Invitation, where the aim was to raise money for the social sporting foundations of Rafa Nadal and Sport Mundi, and we contributed to the Golf Challenge in aid of the Spanish Association Against Cancer.

The team´s efforts of this year have led to notable results: we carried out the largest referral sale of EMEA, due to our collaboration with Czech Republic Sotheby´s International Realty and we have made an all-time sales record. We are proud to have had a year full of progress and we are determined to carry on the same success to 2018. We wish you a wonderful Christmas and a new year full of prosperity.
