This is the largest area of the island and contains over half of Majorca's territory. You can even grow your own olive, almond or carob grove, something very typical for this part of the island. Towns such as Lloseta, Santa Eugenia and Sencelles are well-connected to the capital city of Palma. This area is well-known for its vineyards and cellars of José Luis Ferrer and Macià Batle. Mallorca's second largest city, Inca, is located in this central area. Sa Pobla is known for its agricultural production, in particular new potatoes and strawberries. These delicacies are exported to the United Kingdom and for local and international markets. Sineu, Petra, Manacor, Felanitx, Campos and Llucmajor are also in this area.
